Dr. Shlim was the Medical Director of the CIWEC from 1983-1998. He currently lives in Kelly, Wyoming where he serves as Medical Director of Jackson Travel and Tropical Medicine Center. He is the author of the Health Chapter in Lonely Planet’s “Trekking in the Nepal Himalayas” and serves as an advisor to the Hospital. He is the Past President of the International Society of Travel Medicine (ISTM).
