I was travelling in Nepal and was in Pokhara when I had 5 days of fever without any obvious cause, and I came to CIWEC to see a doctor.
They diagnosed me with Dengue fever (with blood tests) and I had to be admitted for a few days in view of my low platelet count. I am also a doctor and I can vouch for the professionalism and knowledge of the doctors who saw me everyday at CIWEC. The nurses where also very kind and pleasant.
The room was clean and pleasant, and bathroom was also clean and had good hot water. Bed was comfortable.
Hospital administration was easy to deal when arranging for them to be paid directly by my traval insurance.
I would definitely recommend this hospital to any tourist who is seeking medical care in Pokhara.
